A loan of $1,100 helped a member to buy soft-drinks for her store.

G.s San Juan#1 Group's story

María’s a very hardworking person living with her children in a community in southern Honduras. Her business for the last 12 years has been selling soft-drinks.

María needs the loan to buy soft-drinks in assorted flavors. She hopes with the loan to increase sales because she’ll have fresh capital and more products to offer her customers that visit her daily.

María like her fellow group members hopes her economic situation will improve and be reflected in this new investment. In a few years, María expects her business to be established as the biggest and best known in the zone so she can continue supporting her family so they can become upstanding citizens with better opportunities and contributing to society.

Simona has sold snacks in her business for 16 years and José has sold grains in his business for 6 years.
