Aracely's story

Aracely is hardworking and enterprising 34 year old woman who really wants to progress. She is married to Miguel and has four children ages 16, 10, 8 and 2, who live in her house. Arcely sells groceries such as rice, sugar, flour, etc. She has a store in her house, from where she sells her goods to her customers in a friendly and cordial manner. She has been doing this for the past five years. She likes to work as it allows her to be in the comfort of her home. Also the earnings help support the couple with their household expenses. She hopes to continue working and earning money. She plans to continue with her business and help it grow. This is her first loan with KIVA and she is thankful for the financial support. It helps her progress with her business. She is asking for a loan of 1500 new soles in order to buy grocery products such as rice, sugar, flour, etc. She is looking to buy her products on a wholesale level.
