A loan of $1,350 helped to purchase more drugs such as paracetamol, folic acid, cough syrup, blood tonic and quinine to expand her sales.

Boinetta's story

Boinetta is running a medicine store in Paynesville North in Liberia. Paynesville North has the largest market in Montserrado county. The area is home to “round time marketeers” - traders that travel to the interior to purchase various goods to sell throughout the county. As a result, there is a high concentration of wholesalers in the area who distribute to various markets around Montserrado County, including Monrovia.

Boinetta makes a lot of profit since she is the only one running a drugs store in her community. Her profit is used on house rent, food, school fees, and to improve her savings account. A problem she faces is limited stock. She started this business initially by just selling to her friends. Her husband works as a medical doctor. They have three children who are in school and live at home. She is requesting a loan to purchase more drugs such as paracetamol, folic acid, cough syrup, blood tonic and quinine to expand her sales. Boinetta is 46 years old, and has obtained a university degree. Her plan is to improve her business even more. She thanks you in advanced for your support!
