Lassina's story

Born around 1966 in Koloni/Foulala-Kolondièba (town in the 3rd administrative region of Mali), LASSINA lives in the city of Kolondièba with his wife and four children in a traditional family.

Monsieur LASSINA quickly became interested in revenue-generating activities, and has been buying and selling various products (rugs, perfumes, chairs, etc.) for 20 years. He is well-liked and sought after in the market and especially on market day.

In order to grow his business and satisfy his ever-growing clientele, LASSINA is working with Soro Yiriwaso. He is on his second loan after having reimbursed his previous loan.

LASSINA wants to use his loan to buy two rugs, five boxes of water bottles, boxes of various types of perfumes, and a dozen chairs. He buys his supplies from the wholesalers in the city of Kolondièba. He sells for cash, at retail, and occasionally on credit to a clientele of both men and women.

LASSINA would like to earn an average monthly profit of 30,000 FCFA, which he'll use to meet the needs of his family, reimburse his loan, and reinvest in his business.
