A loan of $1,025 helped to buy fuel.

Inzan's story

Born in December 1972 in Kolondièba (prefecture of the third administrative region of Mali), Inzan lives in Kolondièba town with his eight children and his wives in a traditional family unit.

Monsieur INZAN became interested early on in income-earning activities, notably, the sale of fuel and spare parts (for cars and motorcycles) which he has been doing for six years now. He has a good reputation and is sought after at the market and especially on fair days.

Inzan has been working together with Soro Yiriwaso to increase his working capital so that he can satisfy his ever-growing clientele. He is on his fourth loan after having correctly reimbursed the preceding ones.

Inzan intends to use his loan to buy five barrels of fuel. He buys his stock in Koumantou. He makes his sales for cash, retail, at his various sales locations to a clientele composed of men and women.

Inzan hopes to make a monthly profit of 95,000 F CFA which will be used to cover family expenses, reimburse the loan, and invest in his businesses.
