Marites's story

This is Marites. She previously accessed a loan of 20,000 PHP that she used to purchase merchandise needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for her children’s education and in her personal, household, and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 51,000 PHP loan for her to buy more merchandise to increase her product inventory. The more items she has on display and available on hand, the better. More items to sell will result in better profits. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to provide for her children’s education and daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Marites dreams of expanding her business and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She meets with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week. There she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
