A loan of $550 helped to pay for stick brooms, soft brooms, net bags, sandpaper, and other products to resell in her business.

Roxanne's story

This is Roxanne. She previously took a 24,000 PHP loan, which she used to purchase stick brooms, soft brooms, net bags, sandpaper, and other products to resell in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children, and for her family's personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 24,000 PHP loan. She will use this new loan to buy additional supplies of stick brooms, soft brooms, net bags, sandpaper, and other products to resell. Her profits from business will definitely help her to meet her family’s daily needs, including the children's education. She looks forward to this financial increase with happiness, and thankfulness in her heart.

Roxanne dreams that her business will continue to expand, and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She meets with her co-fellowship members* every week, to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
