Oliver's story

Oliver used the previous loan to buy general merchandise to sell. She is a 32-year-old married woman with four children living in Kasese, Uganda. She has been running a retail shop for five years. She started with 500,000 shillings and now has 3,500,000 shillings as working capital. Her hardships are inadequate capital to meet the high demand, price fluctuations, and inflation. Her personal goals are educating her children and building a permanent home and her business goals are buying land to grow crops and expanding her business into new markets.
