A loan of $550 helped to buy spare parts and pay for the maintenance of his rickshaw.

Robert's story

Robert, 32, is married to Emilia, who is the mother of his children and is a stay-at-home mother. They live in a house of their own. Robert works in transportation and he has an auto rickshaw that he bought with his own money. He has had this line of work for three years and enjoys doing it, since it gives him the necessary income to cover his family’s expenses. He believes his business is profitable because there is good demand for transport services in the city and because it leaves good profits. This is why he has plans to expand his business and grow. For this, he is thinking of buying an additional vehicle to generate more income.

This is Robert’s first loan with Kiva, so he hopes to receive your help in order to continue with his plans. He promises to pay the installments on time. With the requested amount (1,500 PEN) he will buy spare parts and pay a mechanic for the maintenance of his auto rickshaw.
