A loan of $1,625 helped a member to buy a calf, five sheep, and livestock feed.

Yacine's Group's story

This group of three women is part of the village lending group that was created on July 6, 2006. Their main businesses are trade and livestock fattening. The women who make up the village lending group have a good relationship.
Codou, the representative, standing up at the right of the photo and raising her hand, is 25 years old. She is married and the mother of four children (two girls and two boys). With the loan, she plans to buy a calf for 150,000XOF and five sheep for 27,000XOF each. To fatten them, she foresees buying livestock feed as well.
The profits will be used to meet her personal and family needs, and to strengthen her business in buying more sheep.

In this group: Yacine, Codou, Astou
