Elie is a 42-year-old man, engaged and the father of two children, aged 2 and 10. He also has an additional person under his care. He is a shopkeeper and he has opened a small store which he has been managing by himself for the past 13 years. Thanks to this small business, he is able to meet his family's needs.

Thanks to his warm welcome and to his good relationships with his neighbors, Elie has also managed to build and retain a customer base which has increased in size over time. Precisely because his customer base has increased so much, he can no longer satisfy all the demand and he is therefore requesting a loan to develop his business. This loan will allow him to increase his stock of staple foods, which will in turn increase his sales and consequently his profit margin.

Elie plans to reinvest part of his profits in his business in order to expand it, while the rest will be used to meet the needs of his family.
