The ten members of the group "TIESSIRI II" are married women averaging 37 years of age and five children each. The women live for the most part in polygamous families in Nianguela Socoro, a village in Région de Koulikoro (2nd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). They are collaborating with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso with the goal of organizing their work better at the start of the rainy season. The crops grown include peanuts, rice, and beans. The women are in their first collaboration with the institution.

With this loan, KONIBA, who is the first person sitting from the right in the photo, intends to purchase farm inputs and sundry equipment and to pay for plowing for maintaining about 2 hectares of rice, peanuts, and beans.

After the harvest, the produce is sold in Beleco City to a customer base composed of men and women. She envisions making a profit of about 150,000 francs CFA per planting.
