A loan of $1,250 helped to purchase cattle and fertilizer.

Cholpongul's story

Cholpongul is 45 years old, widowed, with 3 children. In order to provide an income for her family, Cholpongul raises livestock and grows crops - beans, peppers, potatoes, starting with the purchase of one cow. Thanks to her stubborn labor, Cholpongul currently has one cow with offspring, a horse, and 1.85 hectares of leased land. The sale of milk and dairy products provides her with an income of about 5000 somons per month. In order to further grow her business, Cholpongul has turned to the microfinance bank "Bai Tushum and Partners" to ask for a loan of 60,000 somons in order to increase the amount of livestock by purchasing a cash cow and fertilizer for the land. Cholpongul plans to invest her earnings from the loan into acquiring additional livestock animals.
