Alicia's story

Alicia, 50, is married and has five children, two of whom are in school. She has been raising pigs in the Philippines for 18 years and earns additional income from selling used clothing. Alicia has borrowed 26 times in the past from Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation to sustain her businesses. She has paid back previous loans. She is now requesting a loan of 22,000 Philippine pesos through NWTF to buy additional feed and vitamins for her pig to further build that business. In the future, Alicia would like to save enough money to afford to send her children to college.
