Zoila's story

Zoila, age 52, is married and has four children. They live together in their own house. Zoila sells food, and she prepares delicious regional stews. The clientele is attracted to her sales stand for the incomparable aroma and the good home-made flavor.

She sells on the sidewalk to her house. It is located in an area that is very popular with all types of people. She really enjoys the work that she has been doing. Even more, she loves seeing her customers satisfied. Also, it pleases her to chat with each one of them while they enjoy her dishes. This work has allowed her to help her husband with the household expenses. She is also able to provide her children with a better quality of life.

This is her eighth loan with Kiva. She is grateful for the opportunity and the trust that is placed in her in order to receive this loan. She pledges to make her payments in a punctual manner. She will use the requested 3,000 soles to buy ingredients and some supplies she needs in order to continue preparing her dishes. She will buy things like rice, meat, and vegetables, among others.
