A loan of $750 helped to buy containers for her honey produce for her business.

Olinda's story

Olinda, 40, is divorced and lives in her parent's home. Olinda makes her living in sales; she sells all types of products with her parents. Two years ago, she started her own business, making her living selling honey from her home. Initially it was complicated, but thanks to her parent's support, she was able to get ahead and now has a stable business. She currently sends her products to Lima for sale and earns extra income.

This is her first loan from Kiva, and she is very grateful for the opportunity that she has been given to obtain financing. Olinda will invest the sum of 2,000 Peruvian Nuevos Soles in the purchase of containers for her honey produce.
