A loan of $550 helped to buy beer, soft drinks, and other beverages for her business.

Sintia's story

Sintia, 46, is married and lives in her own home with her husband and their daughters. She makes a living selling beverages. She learned about this business from her mother, whom she used to help make sales. Thanks to this experience and to her husband, she managed to open her own bar.

Sintia and her husband started up a new project buying and selling cocoa. Since they are in the harvest season, her husband heads out to the fields every morning to collect the fruit, and Sintia is mainly responsible for attending to the bar. As an enterprising woman, she hopes that her business continues to grow and that she can continue to offer a good service and good products to her clients.

This is her first loan with Kiva. She is very grateful for the opportunity to obtain a line of credit, which will be very useful for her work performance. She will invest this loan of 1500 Peruvian soles in the purchase of beer, soft drinks, rum, etc. to stock her business.
