A loan of $3,500 helped a member to buy five cases of Primus, five cases of Fanta, and one case of Mutzig.

Changamuka Group's story

Mwanatambwe is the treasurer of the Changamuka loan group. A brave entrepreneur, she is 40 years old and a mother of seven children, who all go to school. Her husband is unemployed.

Mwanatambwe sells [alcoholic and non-alcoholic] drinks (Primus, Fanta, Coke, etc.). She started this business with money received from her husband about twenty years ago.

This new loan will serve to buy five cases of Primus, five cases of Fanta, and one case of Mutzig.

Losses and unpaid bills are major challenges to the development of her business.

In the future, she wishes to expand her business, build a house, and educate her children.

Mwanatambwe thanks Hekima for their support to women entrepreneurs.
