Most people in the city are Bassa speakers, one of the indigenous languages of Liberia, Loretta lives with her husband and three children, who are between the ages of 10 and 6. All three of them are in school. Loretta has been selling red oil, pepper, salt, etc. for the past 2 years in the local market. She is requesting a loan to purchase more red oil, pepper, salt, etc. for her business. She likes her business because it helps her support her home. She hopes to own a house one day.
