David's story

David is a 26-year-old, married man. He has one child. He describes himself to be ambitious.

David operates a clothes store where he sells second-hand clothes. He has been involved in this business for three years. His business is located in an urban area and his primary customers are of all kinds. He describes his biggest business challenge to be lack of enough funds to boost business.

He will use the KES 20,000 loan to buy more clothes to sell. His business goal is to open a boutique within five years. He hopes that, in the future, he will improve the living standards of his family.

This is his first loan with SMEP Deposit Taking Microfinance Limited (SMEP DTM).
