A loan of $625 helped a member to buy fertilizer for her farmland.

Neng's Group's story

Neng, 58, lives in a rural village of Kampong Cham province’s Ponhea Krek district, Cambodia. She is married and has seven children. For the last thirty-nine years, Neng has been farming rice, planting cassava and working for others for a fee. The current business earns her about 19,000 KHR per day to meet the family’s need.

Neng is just with VisionFund this loan cycle. Now she is leading her group of three to ask for a loan. As the leader, Neng wants to use her portion to buy fertilizers for her farmland and use a portion of it to spend on labor fees for plowing the field. She hopes to increase her crop yield so as to improve her living conditions.
