A loan of $2,875 helped a member to buy clothes to sell.

Villa Elena Group's story

The Villa Elena communal bank was created in the city of Lambaré. It is currently beginning its third cycle in the women’s committee program. They are requesting the loan because they want to invest in their work. This is the main source of income with which they help their families.

Ana is a member of this group. She sells clothes in an itinerant manner. She now has very good clientele who always appreciate the variety of clothes that she has. She says that she started with very little. However, she was later growing more and more with her effort, until it came to be what it now is.

She is requesting this loan to be able to buy t-shirts, pants, jeans, shirts, skirts, and others. They are grateful for the opportunity that she and her friends are receiving.

In this group: Rocio, Daniela, Ana, Valentina, Lucila, Teresa, María, Isidra, Estela, Luisa, María, Isabel, Ramona, Fatima, Ana
