A loan of $3,625 helped a member to buy animal feed.

Mujeres Organizadas Group's story

Mujeres Organizadas is made up of 14 very hardworking women who got together because they wanted to get ahead. They're from a rural area that's difficult to get to and a little dangerous. Despite this they're striving, and they very much want to grow and improve their neighborhood. All the members make a living raising, selling, or slaughtering barnyard animals such as pigs, chickens, cows, and others. Between this and their sacrifice they're acquiring the means to help their families. María, the president, is requesting this loan to be able to buy feed for her animals. They're grateful for this great opportunity.
