A loan of $1,400 helped to purchase manure, seeds, and pesticides, and to prepare the land for cultivating corn and sorghum.

María Florinda's story

María is 57. She has been a widow for 12 years and is the mother of four children, only two of whom live with her. Two grandchildren also live with her. When she got married, she started working with her husband in agriculture. Now that she is a widow, she is still doing this work. She cultivates corn, beans, and sorghum; this is her only source of income for her family. In order to buy agricultural supplies, she travels 20 kilometres to the city.
This loan, which she is requesting from Fundación Campo, is for the purchase of manure, seeds, pesticides, and herbicides, and to prepare the land for the cultivation of corn and sorghum. This way, she will obtain the supplies for sowing and preparing the land on time and be ready as early as possible. This will allow for good crop development and an abundant harvest to feed her family. Her greatest desire is for her family to have economic stability and to continue to cultivate.
