Ismael's story

Ismael, 39, lives with his wife in his home in the south of Honduras. For eight years, he has been selling vegetables, such as onions, tomatoes, sweet chilis, yuca, and cucumbers. He also sells plastic items such as plates, cups, trays, etc. Ismael's clients are his neighbors and friends who visit his business daily. He makes sales from Monday to Sunday. This is his first loan. Ismael is applying for this loan to buy more potatoes, green plantains, onions, chayote, green chilis, large pans, sieves, etc. These last items are for his second business. He is happy that he can start working with Prisma. Ismael's dream is to be able to provide for his children in terms of their studies and for them become good people. San Lorenzo, Honduras - May 2013.
