A loan of $550 helped to build a good infrastructure and to buy rice, meat and vegetables for her food stall.

Natividad's story

Natividad, 33, is married living in her own house with her husband and two children. Natividad works selling food and refreshments. She’s had experience in this type of service her entire life and it helped her to win a kiosk in a contest. This business has helped her increase her income and improve her and her family’s quality of life. Thanks to the contest she attained an opportunity to do this. She hopes to continue growing and improving her business in order to offer better service and improve sales and income.

This is Natividad’s first Kiva loan and she’s grateful for the economic support she’s getting that will provide the capital needed to improve her business. The amount of 1,500 soles she’s asking for will be used to stock her business with products like rice, meats and vegetables, among others.
