A loan of $750 helped to buy tomato and corn seeds, and to buy food products for her store.

Lloysi's story

Lloysi, 60, lives in her own home with her husband, her son, and 2 grandchildren. She has a business selling food products from her house. She also works in agriculture, cultivating tomatoes, corn, beans, etc., on some land at the side of her house. Thanks to her efforts, and the support of her family, she has been able to make progress and have a stable business that helps her to improve her family's quality of life. Lloysi hopes to continue to grow and expand her business and her sales.

This is Lloysi's first loan with Kiva, and she is very grateful for this opportunity to obtain a line of credit that will be very useful for her work. She will invest the sum of 2,000 Peruvian soles in the purchase of seeds to expand her plantings of tomatoes and corn, and to buy food products for her store.
