Hi. We're the Los Robles ("The Oaks") group. We're merchants, each with his or her own small business which we operate personally. Thanks to these businesses, we can help our families get ahead and provide higher standards of living for our children. Given the economic situation of our country, which is becoming more difficult by the day, we have to make our own work and that's why we're looking for help to fund our businesses. We now need small supplies of goods for our businesses so that we can offer our customers a range of products and, in turn, increase our incomes. After all, more inventory means more sales.

MIGUEL AGEL D.. My main business is buying and selling produce. I work as a street vendor, selling my products in the various neighborhoods of our city. I have several years' experience at this. I am married and I have 3 children who help me in their spare time.

HUMBERTO R.. I operate a small general store in the center of my neighborhood. I have several years' experience at this and I've built a good customer base. I'm a senior citizen. I'm asking you to help me fund stocks of goods for my business.

VENTURA DE JESUS M.. I operate a small general store at my house. The business allows me to take care of my husband and children and earn an income to help with family expenses at the same time. I have two high school-aged children.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
