Maa Mangala Self Help Group's story

Maa Mangala Self Help Group consists of 10 women from a village in Odisha. They formed a group to help themselves to share their problems and to solve their problems among themselves. One of them is Jubida, who was selected as the president of Maa Mangala Self Help Group. The lady standing fifth from the left wearing a blue dress in the photo is Jubida. Jubida is 25 years old and is staying with her husband and her only child. She hopes to see her child as an officer in a company. She has a few cows and sells their milk in the village. Her husband supports her in this activity. She has requested a loan of 14,000 INR, which will help her to purchase the required resources for enhancing her dairy business. She says a portion of the loan will help her to purchase cows, repair a cow shed, and to cover operational expenses like food and fodder for cattle.
