Hawa's story

Hawa is 37 years-old and lives in Kakata the capital city of Margibi County which is the highest producer of rubber plantations in Liberia. She is married with four children between 19 to 6 years old and only three live at home and are in school. For the past ten years, she has been selling salt, vita, rice, pepper, oil, soap, and onions in the local market. She started this business by selling for her mother and learned this trade from her friends. She spends nine hours a day on her business.

She is requesting a loan in order to purchase more vita, rice, pepper, oil, soap, and onions for her business. She hopes to build a house.
