A loan of $3,600 helped a member to purchase eggs to sell.

Les Chérubins Group's story

This client, Fatuma, is the treasurer of the loan group "Les chérubins". The most senior member of the group, she is a brave entrepreneur, 51 years old, a widow, and a mother of six children, of whom four have their own homes, and two are students. She started this business with funds from her children. This new loan will be used to purchase 20 trays of eggs. Poultry diseases (avian flu and others) and vandals are some of the major obstacles in developing her business.

For the future, she would like to expand her enterprise and provide schooling to her children. So, she thanks Hekima for its micro-credit support of women entrepreneurs. It should be noted that a child of one of the clients has slipped into the group photo.

In this group: Marie-J, Kabumba, Madjagi, M'asani, Marhegane, Josee, Karangi, Bamu, Fatuma, Akonkwa, Fatuma, Mutima, Safi, Yvone, Pascaline, Marhegane, Bushashire, Ngoyi, Kakuru, Bihogo, Murhandikire, Ndamwira, Matenda, Gasigwa, Sumbukiya, Rachel, Kabulembo, Bigachi
