A loan of $1,450 helped to buy two cows and animal fodder.

Vahe's story

Vahe has become the only bread-winner in his family after his father died and he does his best to provide minimum living conditions for his mother and school-aged sister. They own a plot of land, the harvest of which (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and greens) is very small and it is just enough for their family use. They also have a small farm; three cows, two bulls, three calves, ten sheep and eight lambs.

Vahe is very young; he is 19, but already very skilled in farming and agriculture, of course with the help of his mother who helps him very much. Vahe’s family lives in the village Tsaghkunk in Sevan area. He also works at a gas station filling cars.

Vahe feels very responsible to take care of their farm and living conditions and he has decided to ask for a loan of 600,000 Armenian drams to buy two cows and animal fodder.
