Virginia's story

Virginia is forty years old and married to John. She is the mother of three children. She rears chickens and she has been in the business for the last five years; she makes a monthly income of KES 25,000.

She learned about LTD from some women in the market. She has been issued a second loan of KES 40,000 after successfully repaying her previous loan. The funds will be used to purchase poultry feed as well as buy additional chicks. The proceeds will facilitate the expansion of the chicken house.

Virginia hopes to generate enough income to establish a hair saloon.
