A loan of $300 helped to purchase food ingredients such as beans, rice, wheat flour, maize flour, sugar and cooking oil.

Mwanaulu's story

Mwanaulu is married and blessed with five children who attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees for her children.

She cooks food for sale at the market and sells to town dwellers and passersby. She cites leftover food leading to losses as her major challenge in the business. She dreams of establishing a café business in the future.

With the KSHS 25,000, she wants to purchase food ingredients such as beans, rice, wheat flour, maize flour, sugar and cooking oil. She decided to join Yehu to access financial support to expand her business
