San Juan Group's story

The 'San Juan' group was founded in the city of San Ignacio. Its members are currently starting their 16th loan cycle. They have been working together for quite some time and each member has her own business activity. This group has remained solid over the years and the members demonstrate a lot of solidarity and friendship among themselves.

Fatima is one of the members of this group. She has a convenience store in her home where she supplies people in her neighborhood with different products. She says that she started out with very little but, thanks to her efforts and the fact that she has good customers, her business is growing. Fatima is a very hard-working and, above all, entrepreneurial person. Her goal is to continue improving her store and to have more products to offer her customers.

Fatima is requesting this loan to invest in buying drinks, soda, fruit, vegetables and other products with which to stock her store. She hopes that this loan will enable her to provide her customers with the fresh produce they are used to.

In this group: Rosa, Leandra, Noelia, Ada, Juana, Lorena, Maricel, Pastora, Fatima, Lilian, Maria, Maria, Juliana
