A loan of $375 helped to buy tools such as screwdrivers, hammars, etc. for his repair shop.

Rolando's story

Rolando is a mechanic who repairs motorcycles. He has a small shop in his house, his own work center. Previously, he had to work in different shops to gain experience and, in this manner, to become independent. That is how he started his business.

As a complementary business, he works as a truck driver transporting cargo to the coast, earning extra income that helps improve his and his family's standard of living.

Rolando hopes to advance his small shop and make it grow sufficiently to supply his customers needs, offering them a better service, one of quality. This is the 1st time he has worked with Kiva. Rolando is very content with the economic assistance he has received.

With the solicited total of 1,000 sols he will purchase tools to utilize in his daily work, including screwdrivers and hammers, among other tools.
