Angela's story

Ángela, 24, lives with her husband and little boy in an adobe house. Ángela she works selling food products and has been in business four years; she’s able to do business while caring for her little son. She offers her customers such things as rice, sugar and milk, among others, as well as cleaning supplies and small commercial items among her consumers. She tends to buy her products at wholesale so she can get lower prices and keep her store stocked for longer periods of time.

Her business is located in her house’s first floor; with help from her husband she furnished it for this purpose. One of her main objectives is to work with her characteristic motivation in order to build a house with bricks and cement to then expand the business to increase profits. On this occasion she wants to have 2,000 new soles to buy sacks of rice, sugar, noodles, beverages and other products in demand in her zone.
