Máxima works growing vegetables and flowers that she then sells in one of the markets in the city of El Alto. She lives with her husband and two children in her own house located in the community of Palomar, Río Abajo sector of Murillo Province, La Paz Department.

She needs the loan to buy improved seeds in order to improve production and also help to protect the environment since the use of these seeds means a shorter growing time and so irrigation is minimal. Thus she will improve production while preserving the environment.

Máxima’s dream is to increase production without damaging the environment and to have production that will improve her income to have a better future for her children.

This is the sixth time she’s requested a loan from IMPRO and first time from KIVA.

Máxima se dedica a la producción agrícola de verduras, legumbres, hortalizas y flores, las cuales vende comercializa en uno de los Mercado de la ciudad de El Alto. Ella vive en casa propia junto con su esposo y sus dos hijos, la casa esta ubicada en la comunidad de Palomar, del Sector de Rió Abajo de La provincia Murillo del Departamento de La Paz.
El crédito lo requiere para compra de semilla mejorada: de esta manera mejorara su producción y ayudara a la manutención del medio ambiente ya que al utilizar estas semillas el proceso de producción en las tierras será mas corto, además el riego de agua será mínimo. Así tendrá una mejor producción y preservara el medio ambiente.

El sueño de Máxima, es incrementar su producción agrícola sin dañar el medio ambiente, y tener una producción que mejore sus ingresos para tener un futuro mejor para sus hijos.

Es la sexta vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO y la primera vez con KIVA.
