A loan of $2,700 helped to purchase improved seeds for her vegetable and flower crops.

Cecilia's story

Cecilia grows vegetables and flowers, which she sells by wholesale in one of the markets of the town of La Paz. She lives with her children in a house that she owns. Her husband is currently working abroad. Her house is located in the community of Palomar of the sector of Rio Abajo, province of Murillo, deparment of La Paz.

She requests the loan in order to purchase improved seeds. That way she'll improve her production and help preserve the environment, since by using these seeds she'll no longer need too much water for irrigation and she'll optimize the use of such an important resource. In addition, she'll get a high quality produce, which will yield higher profits for investing in her land.

Cecilia's dream is to increase her agricultural production without harming the environment, and to own a tree nursery.

This is the 7th time she requests a loan with IMPRO and the first time with Kiva.
