This is Florence from Liberia, she is 34-years-old. She resides in Paynesville South, a suburb just outside Monrovia. The area is one of the most populated areas in Montserrado County with one of the best standards of living in the country. Good roads, access to clean water, affordable rent and plentiful transportation options makes Paynesville South one of the most popular places to live.

Florence is single, with two children, aged one and 14-years-old. One of her children is currently attending school and they all live with her in her home.
Florence runs a shop selling goods such as rice, milk, flour, etc.

She describes herself as business minded woman. Florence started her business two years ago, using 10,000 Liberian Dollars (LRD) which she borrowed from one of her friends. Typically, she works 12 hours per day at her business and transports goods to her business by bus.

Florence cites her greatest challenge as less income. She is proud of her business because she can support her family and has money for all expenses.
