He has operated a fish-selling business at the market for the past five years, selling to his town dwellers and neighbors. He faces a major challenge of the high cost of purchasing fish.
He is requesting a loan to purchase bundles of fish for sale. He decided to join Yehu to access loans at lower cost to improve his business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
