A loan of $650 helped to purchase cattle.

Feruza's story

Firuza is a young woman of 24 years. She was born and grew up in Kanibadam. She got married early, and she has two children, but after giving birth to the second one her husband left them for another woman. Firuza was very lonely and she decided to go to her parent's house. But she was not happy there either, as her mother died long time ago and her father is very old, and living together with him was hard. Firuza's brother lives with his own family, and they also barely survive and he is not able to help his sister.

Firuza decided to earn money for living herself and with the last money she had she bought a goby, She started to take care of it and when he grew some, she sold him at a good price and bought two small calves. This way she started growing her business. Now she has been breeding cattle for more than two years. She already has more than five heads of cattle due to this.

Firuza is very happy with her business as it gives her a good income. After having saved money, she plans to purchase her own house in the future, and live with her children, not dependent on anyone. Currently Firuza would like to purchase more cattle, but she needs financial means. At the advice of an acquaintance, she decided to submit an application for a loan and turned to the organization "Arvand". She hopes very much for financial support.
