A loan of $1,250 helped to buy fertilizer and pay labor costs.

Ciriaco's story

Ciriaco, 56, is married and has four children. He lives in a village belonging to Taulabe Municipality, Comayagua. He’s worked growing coffee for twenty years; it’s always been his source of work and income. He sells his production in the local markets or to middlemen. He’s asking for a 25,000 Lempira loan to provide crop maintenance. He will buy fertilizer and do the weeding to obtain better crop yields. His plan is to keep him crops in good condition to be able to leave his children an inheritance in the future.
