A loan of $475 helped to buy fertilizer and other farm supplies.

Elvira's story

Elvira is 42 years old and married, with three children.

She earns a living by farming sugarcane in the Philippines. Elvira is borrowing PHP 19,500 through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy fertilizer and other farm supplies.

Elvira has been farming sugarcane for three years and also earns additional income from buy-and-sell charcoal and vegetables.

She successfully paid back her previous loan and is now requesting a new loan to further build her farming sugarcane and buy-and-sell charcoal and vegetables businesses. Elvira is working tirelessly toward the attainment of her dream: to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
