A loan of $375 helped to purchase additional items to sell, like soap, canned goods, eggs, sugar, and milk.

Waceema's story

As a married parent of five children, Waceema works hard to support her family.

She has a general store business in the Philippines and earns additional income from buy-and-sell gasoline. Waceema is borrowing PHP 16,000 through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to purchase additional items to sell in her general store, like soap, canned goods, eggs, sugar, and milk.

Waceema has been sustaining her business activities through her past six loans from NWTF. She hopes that her hard work will help her attain her dream to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
