Martín is a 36-year-old married man. He has four children, two boys and two girls. They live in the small central village of Chuiquel, Sololá, Sololá.

He currently has a grocery store in his home, which earns adequate income for his family. He started this business one year ago, seeing his family's need, and that of his neighbors to have a grocery store in the community.

He is requesting a loan of 7,000.00 Q to buy more products and expand his grocery store. This will allow him to provide better service to his customers and earn more income.

His dream is to send his children to school to prepare them for a better future.
