He has been selling fresh fish at a market of the capital for the past four years, which is how he supports his family. Since buying his stock at retail is not very profitable, this loan is very important to Parfait’s activity as it will enable him to increase his stock of fish. This will eliminate the need for daily trips, cut down on his taxi expenses, and bolster his profits.
He plans to reinvest part of his profits in his activity, and to use the remainder to provide for the needs of his family.
