A loan of $300 helped to buy more items to sell in her general store.

Imelda's story

Imelda is 57 years old and married, with eight children. With two children currently in school, Imelda works very hard to provide for them.

Imelda runs a general store in the Philippines and has requested a PHP 12,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy more items to sell in her general store.

Imelda has been in this business for 30 years and sells a variety of items, such as bread, shampoo, laundry soap, sugar, coffee, and other groceries.

In the future, Imelda would like to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
