A loan of $1,250 helped to purchase clothing and cosmetics to stock her business.

Maria Estela's story

María is 54 years old, married and she has four adult children. She lives with her husband and a niece in a small town that belongs to the municipality of Esparta Atlántida. She began selling food and with her savings she achieved her dream of having a little store where she sells a variety of products such as clothing for ladies, gentlemen and children, cosmetics and other assorted things. She has established the business in her home and it is located in a strategic place for sales. She has kept it stable through the investment of several loans.

Currently she is requesting a seventh loan for 25,000 Lempiras (HNL) and she is going to invest it in the purchase of more clothing and cosmetics. Her plan is to make her business grow in order to obtain greater revenue.
