A loan of $625 helped buy cattle to be raised for several months and then resold.

Maurice's story

Mr. Maurice has been fattening livestock for over 10 years. He is married and a father.

From his ancestors he inherited this occupation which is handed down from generation to generation. He owns oxen but wants to fatten them, which is why he seeks the support of IMCEC.

He starts his day at 6 am, ends at 2 pm and then keeps the cattle at home in the afternoon. It is from the profits of his business that he supports his family.

Before knowing about the institution, Maurice was unable to save, but now he has a regular savings plan, and is able to pay his children's tuition fees.

Maurice wants to improve and maximize his profits by diversifying his business.
